The Kitchen, located inside the glorious Bed Bath and Beyond in East Hanover, must be on your "Gotta Go" list. The Kitchen is a brand new experience that allows you to prepare gourmet meals with the guidance of professional chefs and instructors while using top-of-the-line appliances, electrics, and gadgets from inside the store!
They offer cooking and baking classes, kid's classes and parties, professional workshops, team building events, and private parties. Mike and I had the opportunity to take a different approach to our Friday night's dining out and try the "Taste of Tuscany" cooking class! Let's take a look!
We loved the hands-on experience and being able to actually do it ourselves! It made the night much more personable and you can really take pride knowing you cooked the meal yourself!!
The "Taste of Tuscany" menu included delicious Mediterranean flavors. We cooked a marinated grilled chicken, encrusted salmon, grilled eggplant, and an incredible couscous salad!
Everyone took part and contributed to the dishes. Mike is no amateur in the kitchen so for him this was a lot of fun. These classes are such a good idea for date night or anniversary dinners because of the fun environment! 10/10 would recommend for a first date instead of the typical "dinner and a movie." Even if you never cook, it is impossible to screw up because the instructors have everything set for you! Otherwise, it's a fun way to learn with your loved ones!
